Overview
During my internship at Polestar, I was part of two development teams focused on My Order 1 & 2 (MO1, MO2) and Extras. My role was to enhance the user experience by collaborating closely with developers, business analysts, and designers Martino Ognissanti and Johan Gren. I worked on refining flows, improving usability, and ensuring a seamless digital experience for Polestar customers.
Through iterative design and feedback loops with the teams, we tackled key UX challenges and optimized interactions to align with business goals and user needs. This experience strengthened my ability to work in a corporate environment and within cross-functional teams, balancing technical constraints with user-centric design solutions.

Martino Ognissanti

My role
While my mentor, Martino Ognissanti, supported another team for most of my internship, I took ownership over the UX in the Extras shop. This gave me the opportunity to lead the design of a new iteration of the shop and checkout experience, focusing on usability improvements, clearer navigation, and a more seamless purchasing flow.
I worked hands-on with developers and business analysts to refine interactions, ensure feasibility, and align the design with Polestar’s high standards. Through iterative feedback and testing, I helped shape a more intuitive and engaging shopping experience.
This experience strengthened my ability to take initiative, drive UX decisions, and work collaboratively within a fast-paced development environment.
